Stephanie Susan Machado

For the last 30+ years, I have dedicated my career to working with children and young adults in the mental health and intellectual disability fields. My dedication, commitment, and passion allowed me to have opportunities to hold positions such as Director, Case Manager, Counselor and Supervisor for various organizations. I have enjoyed the opportunity to teach, train, advocate, and provide services to those in need.
In 2020, I decided that it was time for me to retire and return to Riverside, CA where I grew up. My new goal was to move closer to my new granddaughter, my family, and travel. However, I knew I still wanted to give back to the community and those in need. My new motivation was to instill these values in my family, especially my granddaughter.
My imagination was sparked, and my passion was renewed. This time around, I wanted to start my own nonprofit and help give children in need a positive and enriched future. With the help of my good friend and Co-Founder, we were able to make our dreams of giving back a reality. This nonprofit allows me to work with my family, my daughter, and serve my purpose- giving back to my community by helping those in need!
When I’m not working on our nonprofit, you can find me at the beach paddleboarding, traveling with my husband, spending time with my granddaughter, family, and friends.
